There are many things to do on the Big Island of Hawaii, including exploring volcanoes, beaches, and other natural wonders, as well as visiting historic sites and cultural attractions, just to name a few:
- Volcanoes National Park: Hike through the Nāhuku (Thurston Lava Tube), Devastation Trail, or the Crater Rim trail
- Beaches: Explore world-class beaches, including Green Sand Beach
- Waterfalls: Visit ʻAkaka Falls, a 442-foot waterfall about 15 miles outside of Hilo
- Coffee farms: Tour a coffee farm, like Greenwell Farms to learn about the growing, harvesting, and roasting processes
- Botanical gardens: Explore the tropical gardens of the Hāmākua Heritage Corridor
- Golf courses: Play at one of the world-class golf courses on the Kohala Coast
- Hiking trails: Explore the island's many hiking trails
- Luau shows: Experience the culture and cuisine with a luau show
- Manta ray night dive/snorkel: Go on an unforgettable manta ray night dive or snorkel
- Scenic drives: Take a scenic drive to see the island.
- Stargazing: Go stargazing at the Maunakea Summit, only on Big Island.
- Stand up and paddle: Stand up and paddle along the Hilo and Kona coastlines .
- Dolphin and Whale watching: See dolphins and whales in a safe and respectful way. Sometimes, we can see Whales jump out of the water from our Beach Club.
- Surfing: Catch a wave at the birthplace of surfing.
- Leisure walks along the coastline: Enjoy the view, you may see a few Honus (Sea Turtles) basking in the sun, and you will likely see whales during winter months.
- Relax, Eat, sleep and do nothing: Every now and then, "doing nothing" are the magic words. Big Island and our homes are the perfect place. Relax and enjoy the sunset from our own beach club, take a morning walk along the coast or just relax and read a book in our beautiful lanais. There are plenty of nearby dining options or cooking at home.
